Other Police Department Services

The Whitefish Bay Police Department provides 24-hour-a-day police services to the Village. This includes, but is not limited to, answering calls for service, crime prevention, enforcement of laws, auto accident investigation, traffic enforcement, and protection of property within the village limits.

Specialized Services  

  • Prescription Drug collection has been suspended during the remodeling of Village Hall. 
    The Whitefish Bay Police Department accepts old, unwanted prescription drugs for disposal. This is for Whitefish Bay residents only, and identification will be required. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All prescription pills should be placed in a clear plastic baggie prior to bringing to the department to be disposed of. Prescription and over-the-counter medications, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, should be kept in their original container.
    • Residents may not bring Illegal drugs, needles/sharps including Epipen, biohazardous material (containing a bodily fluid or blood), personal care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc.), household  hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, oil, gas).
  • Fingerprinting for Whitefish Bay residents can be done at the Fox Point Police Department. 
    Fingerprinting - The Police Department will fingerprint residents for employment or travel purposes. The cost of fingerprinting is $2 per card. The Police Department does not provide the fingerprint cards. Fingerprinting is done during normal business hours.
  • Operation Identification - Engravers used to mark and record valuable property belonging to citizens will assist in the identification and recovery of stolen articles. This service is available at the station during normal business hours.
