Seasonal Laborers


The Village hires seasonal laborer positions within the Department of Public Works beginning in May and ending in late August.

Responsibilities


The position will be responsible for assisting Public Works Department personnel in the performance of general tasks which include but are not limited to:
  • Yard waste, brush, refuse, recycling collection
  • Flower bed planting, weeding, watering
  • Shrub bed hedging, weeding, mulching
  • Park building cleaning
  • Landscape trimming
  • Litter pick up at Parks and Village owned green spaces
  • Other general tasks

Qualifications


The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older; possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License; be dependable; on time and be able to perform routine physical labor tasks including repetitious lifting of containers/bags up to 60 pounds.

Hours


Working hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Forty hours per week is expected but not guaranteed. Compensation will be $9.50 - $10 per hour depending on years of service and experience. Applications for employment are available at Village Hall or you may print the Online Application and return to:
